I don’t get it. I’ve watched Jane Eyre 2011 three times, and each time I find Michael Fassbender’s Rochester more boring. How is he the best Rochester in any way? Of course, it’s not entirely his fault, since a lot of the scenes between Rochester and Jane are cut, but if he’s compared to Toby Stephens’s Rochester, he can’t win. Just cuz he looks the best? Lol.

I really hope there’s gonna be a director’s cut for JE11, cuz that would probably fix most of the problems.

I have not watched it three times, but I agree that I was completely and totally underwhelmed by it.
